Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) apply to everyone who uses the LingoFlow AI website, application, and Chrome extension. By using the service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms below.

If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use the service. AI outputs are generated from statistical probabilities and are provided for educational purposes; they should not be used as a sole source for critical decisions.

1.Service Description

LingoFlow AI is a language-learning assistant that uses AI to analyze text selected by the user, offering translation, grammar explanations, and a personal word library. The service is available through the web app and a browser extension.

2.Account and User Responsibility

  • You are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information at sign-up.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials (such as your password) confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account.
  • You may not use the service to analyze unlawful content, distribute malware, infringe on the rights of others, or compromise the integrity of the system.
  • Automated scraping, excessive request volumes, or any usage that degrades service quality is prohibited.

3.Service Limits and Disclaimer

Nature of AI Outputs

LingoFlow AI relies on large language models (LLMs) that are based on statistical probabilities. Grammar analysis, explanations, and translations are provided for educational purposes. They do not guarantee 100% accuracy or academic precision and should be double-checked using the user’s own judgement.

Extension Access Scope

The Chrome extension becomes active only when the user explicitly triggers the “Analyze” action. It does not continuously listen to page data, collect browsing history, or read page contents in the background. The extension’s technical scope is limited to the permissions published on the Chrome Web Store.

Data Storage

User data is stored on Supabase with Row-Level Security (RLS) policies so that only the relevant user can access it. Direct access by third parties, including system administrators, is technically restricted.

Disclaimer of Liability

LingoFlow AI cannot be held liable, directly or indirectly, for service interruptions, maintenance windows, third-party provider errors, inaccuracies in AI outputs, or any consequences resulting from decisions made based on those outputs. The service is provided “as is”, without any express or implied warranties.

4.Intellectual Property

The LingoFlow AI software, interface design, brand, prompt architecture, and algorithms belong to the developer. Copying the software in whole or in part, reverse-engineering it, training a competing product with it, or publicly distributing it is not permitted.

Responsibility for the copyright of any text or content submitted to the service rests with the user. The user represents that they have the necessary rights for the content they submit to the service.

5.Pricing and Subscriptions

LingoFlow AI may offer both free and paid plans. The current pricing and scope of the paid plans are described in the pricing section on the landing page. Plan changes and subscription cancellations can be managed from your account settings. Once a payment has been processed, no refund is issued for the used portion of the period unless otherwise stated.

6.Service Changes and Termination

  • LingoFlow AI reserves the right to change, suspend, or terminate features of the service with prior notice, or without notice where strictly required.
  • Accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws may be suspended or closed without prior warning.
  • Users may close their account at any time; when an account is closed, the related data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

7.Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. For any disputes arising out of these Terms, and without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection legislation, the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul (Çağlayan) shall have jurisdiction.

8.Updates to These Terms

These Terms may be updated as the service evolves or as required by legal or security needs. Material changes will be announced through appropriate channels (in-app notification or email) before they take effect. Continued use of the service after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
